Looking at layouts🗒

One thing I needed to do was decide on the actual layout of the two figures, the design I am going to put onto the wood.

I needed to be 100% happy with the design I had chosen, making sure it worked with the idea I have in mind.

I did some drawings, kept moving and altering the figures until I was happy with them. I had to be careful of the placement, because I felt some of the drawings conveyed a different message. I want to show community, togetherness to contrast with the stories I am going to hang. I feel this contrast shows perfectly how we are, in society, on the topic of equality, sexism, feminism, etc. We all think we are 'fine' and are in a good place, however this is far from the truth. We may be making progress, but not enough, because if we were, these stories, and the 'Everyday Sexism Project' wouldn't still be a thing.

See the photos below:

Once I am happy with the design, 100%, I am going to scale it up onto the wood, using the projector.
