Drawing Task✏

In my last two projects, I felt I didn't use drawing as much as I'd like too. 

I was thinking about the handful of women I picked out who inspired me - I wanted to see how I could visualise them, without being too literal. 

When googling, I found lots of head shots of each person. Their hair stood out too me - they are all from various time periods, all with different haircuts. I think each one really defines who they are. Hair has also been quite a stereotyped aspect of a women's body. 

I decided to give myself 5 minutes to draw each one, so I wouldn't be too careful on what I was doing. I wanted it to be quite gestural and 'free'. 

I really love how each one turned out. I feel they do really resemble each woman. Sometimes drawing scares me as it feels like it needs to be 'perfect' - this task really helped me challenge this problem. 

I definitely, as I go forward, want to see what I can do with these and push them further.
