Tutorial - Blog and Project Proposal💻

Just before the Christmas break, I had a one-to-one tutorial with my tutor, about my project in general, but she did have a look at my blog and my project proposal beforehand.

These were the notes made:

-Photography I really enjoy.

-Being invested, like I am with this project, is beneficial.

-Push 3D ideas: spatial, tactile, drive my research in another way.

-Having a calming atmosphere, putting yourself at ease.

-Repetition, systems, routines, temporary relief.

-Knit, sculptural, coming off the paper, wallpapers, flooring.

-Response doesn't have to be literal, what your driven by, what your journey was/is.

-Sensory: touch, feel, see, etc...

-Projection: with materials, pieces, knit, super-imposing on an interior, light, hanging.

-Community spaces?

-Small test pieces to visualise, good idea to then more forward and conclude.

I feel, naturally, with all the information given to me and my ideas, it is likely I will end up making an outcome relating to interiors in some way. I am still unsure on what I think I will make but the process of learning and developing, trying out new techniques - and just having fun - is something I am really enjoying. I kind of like the fact I don't know what it will be yet as it excites me, what I will produce. 

I definitely want to start looking at some other designers and artists, as well as taking all the research I have been doing and turning it into something.
